About Kamryn
Born in Pasco County growing up around the water and basking in the gorgeous Florida sunshine. Kamryn is the daughter of working musicians. Her Dad is a bassist that is fluent on most all instruments and did the score work in a documentary which took 4th place at the International Indie Film Fest. Kamryn's Mom, the daughter of a New York City Rockette, is a lead vocalist, percussionist and choreographer for a popular Tampa Bay based band.
In Kamryn's household you will find many different instruments and she enjoys playing on many of them. "Guitar was my first instrument" and then came the ukulele. At age fifteen she was bestowed a piano for Christmas and she has been concentrating on that lately. Kamryn plays all instruments by ear although she did learn to read music while playing alto sax, first chair, for three years in middle school. She loves to dance too! She just loves music and how it makes her feel. Kamryn also enjoys writing and creating her own music.
Kamryn is currently involved in the "Grammy Revolution Project" which is sponsored by Ruth Eckerd Hall and Hoffman School Of The Arts. She and her new friends there are collaborating in writing and playing their own original music, and soon to be performed on the big stage. Kamryn has sung the National Anthem for multiple functions. i.e.... Breast Cancer walk, Stand Down for the Homeless, the famous Chasco Festival and others.
Her dream is to become a professional musician, performer, actor and recording artist. Kamryn loves all facets of music and not one genre can hold her down. She loves indie rock yet her voice is versatile and also enjoys performing Show Tunes, R&B, and Pop Music.
